Kinderdagverblijf De Boomhut

Kinderdagverblijf De Boomhut is located in the multifunctional centre De Boomgaard at Middenpad 3 in Zuidoostbeemster. We provide small-scale, vertical childcare for up to 48 children divided across three groups for ages 0-4. Our rooms are clearly arranged with different play corners tailored to every age and interest. For the youngest ones we have a special ground box so they too can safely explore. Outside we have our own, fully enclosed playground with a spacious sandbox, lovely grass area and a playhouse perfectly suited to the world of children under four. The central location of De Boomgaard allows us to make regular short trips in the immediate area. We work according to a clear pedagogical policy in which every child’s development is central. Our activities are themed and connect to the world of experience of young children—think reading aloud, singing, crafting and discovering nature. We also offer Early Childhood Education (VVE) so children are playfully prepared for primary school. Care and nutrition receive plenty of attention. We serve a daily warm, fresh meal and healthy snacks. For babies we provide bottle feeding according to the home schedule and follow the child’s sleep rhythm. We take allergies and dietary needs into account. Parents experience our care as personal and involved: “We are super happy with how our son is treated, the attention and love he receives: really nice. He leaves happily and is picked up happily and that is the most important thing for us!” Our opening hours are 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Early drop-off from 7:00 am is possible. We only offer full-day care; half days are not available. Care one day per week is also possible.
