Welcome to De Berenboot daycare centre at Koolpad 14 in the heart of Bavel. We offer small-scale, home-style childcare for children from 6 weeks to 4 years in a warm environment where safety and security come first. Our close-knit team guides your child with lots of love and attention so that he or she can grow and discover the world at an individual pace. We operate four groups under one roof. The Ukkepukkies is our baby group for up to 9 children aged 6 weeks to 1 year. In addition, we have two vertical groups – the Wijsneusjes and the Boefjes – each welcoming up to 12 children from 6 weeks to about 2.5 years. For toddlers there is the Brakkies, a dedicated toddler group for up to 16 children aged 2.5 to 4 years. This set-up allows brothers and sisters to see each other during the day and creates a homely atmosphere in which every child feels safe. Our rooms are arranged with age-appropriate play corners: a home corner, construction corner, reading corner and creative corner. From the baby room you step straight onto our outdoor play strip, and from the toddler group you reach a separate enclosed playground. Behind the building lies our own nature garden with a barefoot path, sandpit, slide and cycle track. Sleeping outdoors is also possible; your child can rest in an outdoor cot while enjoying the fresh air. Structure and rhythm give your child clarity and security. We start the morning with a fruit moment during which we read a book or sing a song together. Afterwards your child chooses which activity to join, encouraging independent decision-making. We work in small groups and pay attention to all areas of development. In between we serve a fresh, hot meal prepared in our own kitchen. This meal is included in the price, as are nappies, wipes and bottle feeding whenever needed. We use the Berenboot parent app to keep you updated on your child’s day. You can register as soon as you know you are pregnant; we will then reserve a place.
