Kinderdagverblijf Brabbel

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Brabbel, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Haren (SKH). We provide daycare for children from approximately 10 weeks to 4 years old in a beautiful monumental school building located at Waterhuizerweg 7 in Haren. The building is surrounded by greenery and offers spacious outdoor play areas and separate sleeping rooms. Each group has its own space for play, meals, and development. When possible, we also use additional rooms such as the gym for motor activities and creative corners in the hallway. At Brabbel, we work with both horizontal and vertical groups. Our baby group accommodates up to 12 children aged 0 to 2 years, guided by three consistent pedagogical staff. The vertical groups, Brabbel 2 and Brabbel 3, welcome children from 0 to 4 years in a stable group of up to 15 children with three professionals. For toddlers, we offer a dedicated toddler group and a play-and-learn group called Harmonica, where we support development through play. We are proud of our partnership with Boekstart: Brabbel is the first official Boekstart childcare location in Haren. One of our pedagogical staff is a certified reading coordinator and, together with the team, promotes early reading from infancy. We provide pre-school education (VVE) in accordance with government guidelines, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance. At Stichting Kinderopvang Haren, the development, relaxation, and well-being of children are central.
