Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Bloem III, located at Waalstraat 9 in the heart of Amsterdam’s Rivierenbuurt district. We are one of three small-scale branches operated by Kinderdagverblijf Bloem and provide day-care for up to 23 children aged 0 to 4. Thanks to our deliberately modest size, everyone knows each other, creating a familiar, safe and homely atmosphere for the youngest children. Our daily programme centres on warmth and security. Each day we sing and dance with the children. Music and movement are fixed parts of our routine: we use simple instruments, sing songs together and move to the rhythm. These activities not only foster motor development but also language and social skills. Our spacious outdoor play area invites children to explore and play in the fresh air. We follow one clear pedagogical policy that is identical across all three of our locations. Safety, social development, creativity and independence are our core values. Group composition is flexible and tailored to each child’s age and stage of development. Our stable team of qualified pedagogical staff guide the children with care and expertise.
