Welcome to KDV Berend Botje Oosthuizen, a cozy and small-scale daycare centre located at De Wijzend 159 in Oosthuizen. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment where every child has the space to develop at their own pace. Our location is designed as a warm home base where groups are structured vertically. This means children of different ages play and learn together. This setup stimulates social development and gives younger children the opportunity to learn from older children, while older children develop responsibility and care. We work with a fixed team of dedicated childcare professionals who ensure a familiar and stable environment every day. Our approach focuses on the individual needs of each child, based on rest, regularity and recognisability. This contributes to a sense of safety and promotes the development of self-confidence. The spaces are bright and atmospherically furnished with corners for different activities such as playing, crafting, reading and resting. We have our own outdoor playground where children can go outside every day to play, move and discover nature. When weather permits, children also sleep outside, so they can rest in the fresh air. Parents experience an open and personal approach with us. We believe it is important that parents feel involved in the care of their child. Therefore, we talk extensively every day about how things went and share fun moments and developments. We work with a parent app that keeps parents informed of their child's daily experiences.
