Welcome to Kinderdagpaleis Boerhaave! We are a small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Amsterdam East, located at the lively Boerhaaveplein 22 H. Everything we do revolves around personal attention and a warm, homely atmosphere. We work with one vertical group for a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. In this setting babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play, explore and grow together. The little ones learn by watching the older children, while the toddlers proudly take on their ‘big-kid’ role. This creates a rich learning environment for every age. Our premises are bright, spacious and have large windows overlooking the square. Outside we have our own sunny garden where the children can run, build sandcastles or simply lie in the grass every day. We believe children should spend as much time outdoors as possible; fresh air and natural stimuli support healthy development. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who truly see each child. We follow your son or daughter’s natural rhythms: sleeping when tired, eating when hungry and playing when curiosity calls. At the end of the day parents receive a personal report so you don’t miss any of the day’s adventures. Would you like to experience how we work?
