Kinderdagverblijf ’t Kuukske is a privately-run daycare centre located in a rural setting at Graetheide 1C in Sittard. We provide day care for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our main building accommodates up to 16 children and our annex up to 7 children per day, giving a total capacity of 23 places. We deliberately keep our centre small so that every child receives the personal attention and space they need to develop at their own pace. The centre is surrounded by quiet, green countryside, allowing us to take the children outside every day. We have our own vegetable garden and a small children’s farm with farm animals. Here the children can learn about nature, plants and animals in a playful way. The homely atmosphere with lots of wooden toys makes children feel at home quickly. We work with a vertical group in which children of different ages play and learn together. This encourages social development and creates a natural learning environment in which younger children learn from older ones and older children learn to care for the younger ones. We are open from 7:30 a.m. and children can attend for a minimum of 2 days a week. We believe it is important that children have enough time to get used to our care and that we can follow their development optimally.
