Welcome to Kidz Ahoy Daycare, located at Binnendijk 27 in the heart of Lelystad. Our daycare provides children from 0 to 4 years with a safe and adventurous place to grow up in a warm, homely atmosphere. We are a small-scale organization with a maximum of 56 children, allowing us to offer truly personal attention and flexibly respond to the wishes of each child and parent. At Kidz Ahoy, we believe children learn best through play. That's why we've completely designed our spaces according to a sea adventure theme. Children can enjoy themselves in our safe underwater play areas and the brand new garden that is fully secured. We work with three different age groups: the Ketelbinkies and Dekzwabbers (0-2 years), the Matroosjes (0-4 years) and the Pirates and Captains (2.5-4 years). This arrangement ensures that children play with peers, which stimulates social development. Our qualified pedagogical staff (SPW3/4 or higher) are ready to guide your child in his or her development. We pay a lot of attention to the transition between groups, which always takes place in consultation with parents and is tailored to the individual development of the child. We are visited annually by GGD Flevoland for quality checks, during which a public report is issued. We take care of everything your child needs during daycare: diapers, drinks, a warm lunch, snacks and fresh fruit. Eating together and sleeping peacefully are important moments in our daily routine. For safety and hygiene, we maintain strict protocols: our staff is trained in first aid, we work with age-appropriate toys and follow strict hygiene requirements such as regular hand washing. Parents can follow exactly how their child is doing throughout the day via our Bitcare service.
