Kinderdagcentrum De Duinkabouter

Kinderdagcentrum De Duinkabouter is located at Escamplaan 282 in The Hague and provides daycare for up to 50 children aged 0 to 4. We work in small, familiar groups where your child’s emotional safety is our top priority. Our spacious outdoor playground is equipped with age-appropriate toys: scooters, ride-on cars, balls, a playhouse for the youngest and a slide for older toddlers. While playing outside our pedagogical staff encourage personal development through short, meaningful interactions: “Wow, you’re going fast!” or “Did they have a slide at your holiday place?” Inside we use a horizontal group system, separating babies and toddlers into distinct home groups. Each group has a quiet sleeping area with cribs or rocking seats. Our professionals announce their actions and tune their approach to each baby’s response: “Are you going to hold my hand?” a colleague says as a child reaches for her finger. This approach is laid down in our up-to-date pedagogical policy plan, which meets all requirements of the Childcare Act and has been approved by the GGD Haaglanden. Kinderdagcentrum De Duinkabouter has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 6 September 2019 under number 335929862.
