Kindercentrum Woelwater

Welcome to Kindercentrum Woelwater, a homely day-care centre run by De Kinderkoepel, located at Tiendweide 2 in the Hellevoetsluis district of De Ravense Hoek. We provide care for up to 94 children aged 0–4 years, divided into two baby groups, three toddler groups and three pre-school groups. Thanks to this small-scale, horizontal grouping, every child receives the calm and attention they deserve. Our pedagogical staff follow the Early Childhood Education programme “Startblokken”. Through play, they stimulate each child’s language, motor and social development. Specialist baby staff ensure secure attachment and a predictable daily rhythm for the very youngest. The pre-school groups work closely with the De Kleine Raaf playgroup and surrounding primary schools, ensuring a smooth transition into primary education. The centre is housed in a modern multi-purpose building shared with the lower-year after-school care and OBS Het Palet. Large patio doors open straight onto the garden, where children can run on the grass, dig in the sandpit or discover how far a ball can roll. We go outside whenever we can, because outdoor play stimulates the brain and supports healthy development. Kindercentrum Woelwater is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.; on request care is available from 7.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. You will find us at Tiendweide 2, 3223 MG Hellevoetsluis.
