Kindercentrum Waterwereld

After-school care Waterwereld is a spacious location situated in the Waterwereld child centre at Uddelerschans 15 in Nieuwegein. We consist of three groups divided by age, allowing us to optimally support each child's development. Our location has close cooperation with primary school de Schouw, which is located in the same building. Children from de Schouw can use our before-school care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, during which our pedagogical staff member takes the children to school and ensures a proper handover to the teacher. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we do everything to ensure children feel comfortable and have fun, as only then is there room for development. We give children confidence and space to discover and be curious. Playing is discovering and learning, which is why we actively provide an inspiring and challenging environment. Our childcare is a mini-society in which we care for each other and the world around us. During school holidays we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and work with different theme weeks. A special activity we offer is swimming lessons during after-school care time. This gives children the opportunity to develop their swimming skills in a playful way. Our location is spacious and offers plenty of opportunities for sports and games, creative activities and relaxation. We create a safe and challenging environment in which children can develop and have fun after school.
