Daycare Dondersteen is located in the Prisma building in the Vinkhuizen district of Groningen. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment where every child feels safe and secure. Play is central to our approach. We believe children develop best through play-based learning and discovery. Our pedagogical staff provide activities tailored to your child's developmental stage. We work with the VVE program 'Uk en Puk', a language-rich program with themes that stimulate overall development and ensure emotional safety. Our location features a spacious garden where children can play and move outdoors daily. We value healthy nutrition and provide a fresh, warm meal daily, along with bread and fruit. For the youngest children, we have separate sleeping areas and follow individual feeding schedules. We operate in vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. Each child has a fixed mentor who monitors development and serves as the contact point for parents. We value parent involvement and hold regular parent meetings. Daycare Dondersteen is open 52 weeks a year from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We offer flexible care on the days you prefer, with the option to swap days. Diapers, bread, fruit and drinks are included in the care.
