Kindercentrum Toverburcht

Daycare Toverburcht is located at Educatusstraat 10 in Capelle aan den IJssel and is part of Gro-up Childcare. Our daycare provides care for up to 64 children aged 0 to 4. Every day is different: we work with varied themes, offer a wide range of toys and organise activities tailored to babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Children play daily in our safe, clear patio: romping in the sandbox, cycling, carrying and much more. Occasionally we take a trip to the nearby playground or park with a push-car or electric cargo bike. We use Puk, a doll who explores the world together with the children. Puk helps children develop the Dutch language in a playful way and prepares them for primary school. Themes such as ‘Welcome Puk’, ‘Being ill’ and ‘Me and my family’ fit the world of experience of young children. During toddler gym and dance in the gym of the adjacent primary school, toddlers develop their motor skills and imagination. Our building is shared with primary schools De Vijfster and De Wonderwind. Together we organise toddler-infant activities and offer four times a year the opportunity to get to know the infant classes in a familiar way. This ensures a smooth and familiar transition to school.
