Ska Kindcentrum 't Vliet

Welcome to Kindcentrum ’t Vliet, a small-scale daycare centre located in the child-friendly neighbourhood ’t Ruige Veld in Leusden. We provide care for up to 60 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our centre has been completely renovated and features a spacious play hall and a large green discovery garden where children can balance on tree trunks, search for insects, paint outdoors or enjoy a picnic together. At Ska, we believe it is important for children to discover the world themselves. We use development programmes tailored to age and season. In autumn, for example, we go into the forest to look for chestnuts, count them and do crafts with them. We read aloud, sing together and offer dance and music lessons. We also regularly go on outings, such as visiting the sheep nearby. Our pedagogical staff have been providing child-centred care for over 30 years. We help children develop new skills at their own pace and offer calm, structure and challenge. Every child is given the space to develop in a safe and familiar environment.
