Kindercentrum 't Speelparadijs

Welcome to Partou ’t Speelparadijs! Our daycare centre is located at Boslaan 52 in Onstwedde, inside the community centre De Bolster. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in two bright, homelike groups. Babies have their own cosy corner where they can snooze peacefully and explore the world around them. Toddlers and preschoolers enjoy plenty of space to play, climb and make their first friends. Discovery and outdoor play are at the heart of our approach. Rain or shine, we head outside to our spacious, secure playground as often as possible. Children can climb, bake sand pies and play with natural materials. Every week a gym instructor visits to run a movement session with the toddlers, encouraging both motor development and the sheer joy of being active. Reading and language are high on our agenda. We participate in the library’s BoekStart programme, so daily reading aloud, picture-book browsing and singing are part of our routine. This gently stimulates the language development of even our youngest children. Sleep time is safe and discussed with parents. We follow the ‘Safe and Sound Sleep’ policy: babies lie on their backs, beds are made short and tight, and each child has their own bedding or sleeping bag. For those who sleep better outdoors, we offer special outdoor cribs in the fresh air. We align nap schedules with each child’s home rhythm; this is discussed in detail during the intake. Healthy food is a given. Every day we serve fresh, hot meals, fresh fruit and wholesome snacks, all lovingly prepared and tailored to your child’s age. Bottle-feeding is of course supported; parents may bring their own milk or use our facilities. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide warm attention and professional care every day. We work with horizontal groups: babies, toddlers and preschoolers have separate yet openly connected spaces. This lets children get used to peers their own age and to slightly older children. Through the Partou parent app you receive photos and updates throughout the day about your child’s adventures.
