Welcome to Kindercentrum ’t Rovertje location Meander, the daycare centre in Reuver where children from 3 months to 3 years explore the world in a safe and familiar environment. We are located in a broad social facility at Sint Jozefweg 30 and provide day care in two vertical core groups: the Ieniemienies and the Boefies. Each group has its own atmosphere and layout, tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children. Everything we do is development-oriented. We follow the child, offer trust and help children take the next step in their development. We do this through a diverse and appropriate range of activities that focus on language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. We work with themes and offer activities in both large and small groups, so that every child has the space to develop at his or her own pace. Our location features a spacious exercise hall, a professional kitchen and a safe, green outdoor area where children can play and discover. We believe it is important for children to be outside and to connect with nature. In addition, we provide pre-school education (VVE) through the Startblokken method, which gives children from 2.5 years of age extra stimulation in their development. Parents are closely involved with us. We inform parents during drop-off and pick-up moments, organise parent meetings using the KIJK! observation method and regularly show parents what their children have made or learned. We believe in good contact and consultation with parents, because together we can achieve the best for the child. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. Early care from 6.30 am is possible and, if there is sufficient demand, we can extend care until 7.00 pm. We are affiliated with a recognised disputes committee and have a clear complaints procedure.
