't Kraaiennest

't Kraaiennest is a childcare centre operated by Junis Kinderopvang, located within De Hobbitburcht primary school at Havixhorst 252 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. After school, children are welcomed into our dedicated space inside the school. We love to play outside in the schoolyard or use the gymnasium of De Hobbitburcht for sports and games. There is also plenty of room for creative activities such as painting, clay work or sand play. During holidays we turn it into a real party with special activities like a photo scavenger hunt or a cooking workshop. Our pedagogical staff pick up children on foot from schools within walking distance. For schools further away we use our own (bicycle) buses or arrange transport with a taxi company. Together with the schools we ensure every child arrives safely. At 't Kraaiennest we work from Junis' vision: every child is unique and we provide a safe, challenging environment where children can develop in their own way. We believe it is important that children can unwind after a busy school day, but also discover new things and play and relax with peers.
