Skippybol children’s centre is located at Kennemerstraatweg 11A in the heart of Alkmaar and is part of Rollebol Kindercentra B.V. Our site provides out-of-school care (BSO) for children aged 4–12 who attend a primary school in the municipality of Alkmaar, especially OBS De Kennemerpoort. We offer before-school, between-school and after-school care for a minimum of 1 to 5 half-days per week; care on study days is included. After the table moment we provide theme-based activities in the age categories 4+, 6+ and 8+. Sports and games return every day because we consider movement essential for a child’s development. At parents’ request we can also activate the theme “Education & homework guidance”. The children share a spacious, car-free outdoor play area with OBS De Kennemerpoort; parents can use 14 private parking spaces in the courtyard. Our qualified pedagogical staff guarantee a familiar environment in which every child can be themselves. We work with a permanent team so that strong bonds develop and children feel safe. Predictability, continuity and positive stimuli are central; we prefer to teach children to make their own choices rather than offering everything to them. Each group has its own kitchen, so children who use extended care can enjoy a fresh hot meal. Skippybol is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00. To safeguard peace in the groups we maintain fixed drop-off and pick-up times: in the morning between 07:00 and 09:00, in the afternoon between 12:30 and 13:00 and between 16:30 and 19:00. Our location is HKZ-certified and works exclusively with qualified pedagogical staff.
