Welcome to Kindercentrum Moeders Schoot located at Dr. H. Colijnstraat 250 in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We provide daycare for children from 3 months to 4 years old in a homely and safe environment. Our location has a capacity of 31 childcare places and works with small groups so that each child receives the personal attention they deserve. We maintain a clear daily routine that matches your child's developmental stage. For the youngest ones, we provide customized bottle feeding, fresh fruit and warm meals. Our fixed pedagogical staff recognize, understand and guide your child in his or her development. There is a separate sleeping room where children can sleep peacefully according to their own sleep schedule. Our pedagogical policy is based on the four goals of professor Riksen-Walraven: providing physical and emotional safety, developing personal and social competencies, and transferring values and norms. We pay a lot of attention to language development by reading books, singing songs and having conversations. Additionally, we offer creative activities such as crafting, clay work and drawing, tailored to the age and interest of your child. As a preschool education location, we collaborate with nearby primary schools. We celebrate various cultural and religious festivities such as Sinterklaas, Christmas and Sugar Feast, taking into account the diverse backgrounds of our families. Our outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities for play and movement. We have a parent committee that contributes to policy and where parents can share their opinions.
