Kindercentrum let's shine

Kindercentrum Let’s Shine is a small-scale daycare centre located at Oude Watering 31 in Rotterdam. We provide care for up to 11 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our approach focuses on supporting parents in the care and upbringing of their children. We are committed to guiding children in their identity and character development on physical, mental, social and spiritual levels. Therefore, we tailor our care to the age and needs of each child. We work in small groups, ensuring peace and personal attention. Every four weeks we start a new theme that connects with the children's world of experience. Warm meals, drinks and fruit are included in our care, as well as nappies and baby wipes. Bottle feeding is exclusive. At Let’s Shine we believe that cooperation with parents is essential. We involve parents in everything we do, so that together we can ensure that every child discovers and can be the best version of themselves. We provide a healthy living environment where exercise and healthy nutrition are central. Drinking water is encouraged. Children learn a lot by doing things together. Our childcare staff use the group by working with smaller groups or placing children next to each other to carry out activities together. In this way we not only stimulate development, but also children's social skills. We love to see children grow up, partly thanks to the Let’s Shine offer, into creative thinkers and doers who can later make unique contributions to society.
