Kindercentrum in Bloei

Welcome to Kindercentrum In Bloei, a beautiful, small-scale childcare centre in the heart of the Drenthe village of Darp. We provide care for up to 64 children aged 0–4 in a homely, natural environment where every child feels safe and seen. Our location at Veldweg 1a has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 278108660) since 1 September 2021 and is supervised by the GGD Drenthe. Everything we do centres on loving connection and individual attention. We truly see each child and give them space to discover the world at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff work from respect for children’s autonomy; they are allowed to be who they really are. We deliberately choose small horizontal groups, so there are always familiar faces and every child receives the stability needed to grow and flourish. Nature is our greatest learning environment. We are outside every day – because it is always good weather to play outside – and let children enjoy nature in all weather conditions. Our spacious garden and immediate surroundings offer endless opportunities for discovery, imagination and movement. Creativity is given full scope: we work with natural materials and offer both free play and structured activities such as crafts and painting. Our food is also a conscious choice: only healthy, nutritious meals and snacks that meet the needs of young children. We take time for a careful settling-in period, carry babies who need it and guide children calmly in resolving conflicts themselves. In this way we create a safe haven where parents can bring their child with peace of mind and where children can develop into self-aware, loving human beings. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, 52 weeks a year. We are only closed on official public holidays.
