Welcome to Kindercentrum Huize Zeldenrust BSO – location Wittenhorst, our newest after-school meeting place right in the middle of RKsv Wittenhorst’s sports park at Wittebrugweg 3 in Horst. Since 1 November 2023 we have been offering out-of-school care in a wooded environment where children can really let off steam. The location has a maximum capacity of 22 places and is set up according to our core values: fun, health and a homely feeling. We operate on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Children are picked up from school and then head out onto the grounds: playing football on the grass, romping between the trees or helping in our vegetable garden. The natural play area around the clubhouse offers endless opportunities for risky play, allowing children to safely explore their boundaries. Our pedagogical staff provide healthy snacks and guide activities that match the world of 4- to 12-year-olds. Just like at our main location, we follow a healthy childcare philosophy: balanced nutrition, lots of exercise and outdoor time are central. Thanks to the partnership with Wittenhorst, children can also get acquainted with various sports and experience the club spirit of the association. In this way we combine childcare with playful learning and an active lifestyle. Children quickly feel at home with us thanks to the personal contact and homely atmosphere we strive for. Parents can make flexible arrangements and are always welcome to watch or join in. Together we create a place where children gain energy after school instead of losing it, and where parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
