KDV Hoogkerk Dribbel

Welcome to KDV Hoogkerk Dribbel, located in the Vensterschool at Zuiderweg 70-10 in Groningen-Hoogkerk. We are a small-scale daycare centre that welcomes up to 15 children aged 0 to 4 years in one vertical group. Our entrance is on the right in the second hallway of the school building; please ring the intercom to be let in. At Dribbel, personal attention is paramount. Every child is seen for who he or she is—an individual. We believe in approaching each child personally and giving them the space to develop at their own pace. Our qualified pedagogical staff work with loving care and a sense of security. A trainee is sometimes present to provide extra support. Our room is cosily decorated in warm yellow tones with wooden furniture. It is an orderly, homely environment where the wide range of toys is displayed to full advantage. The painting board is especially popular. For the very youngest, there is a safe baby corner with high playpens and a large floor playpen. Separate sleeping rooms ensure that every child gets the rest they need. Children can enjoy our beautiful outdoor area with plenty of greenery every day. There is a lovely slide, a large sandpit and lots of bikes and cars to ride. In bad weather we play indoors. We use the Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme, so your child is playfully prepared for primary school. We maintain close contact with local primary schools and WIJ teams to ensure a smooth transition when your child moves on to Group 1. Parents can use our handy parent app. In it you can view and download the notebook with photos, request extra days, swap or cancel days off, and let us know when you are on holiday.
