Kindercentrum Het Welpennest (BSO)

Welcome to BSO Het Welpennest, located in the Koningskwartier at Ryckevelde 3-5 in Zevenhuizen. Our child centre is part of gro-up childcare and offers day-care, a toddler group and out-of-school care for children aged 4 to 12 under one roof. The BSO has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 3 May 2023 and has room for up to 36 children. Our qualified pedagogical staff welcome the children after school in a homely, safe environment where relaxation and development go hand in hand. We work closely with the primary schools in the Koningskwartier, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. The bright, inviting spaces provide plenty of opportunities for both quiet activities and active play. A spacious outdoor playground invites children to romp, cycle and take part in sports and games in the fresh air. The daily schedule is aligned with school hours: after school, fruit, drinks and a healthy lunch are ready, after which the children choose what they want to do. We offer themed activities focused on nature, technology, creativity and sport, always tailored to the children’s world of experience. There is also ample time for free play and relaxation, allowing every child to recharge in their own way after an intensive school day. Parents experience the care as involved and transparent: we keep them informed via a parent app and are always open to consultation. BSO Het Welpennest is open on weekdays until 18:30 and offers flexible care days to match parents’ working hours. Together we ensure that the children feel safe, seen and challenged.
