Kindercentrum Het Springtij

Welcome to Kindercentrum ’t Springtij, a warm and secure place for the very youngest in the heart of Cadzand. Located at Badhuisweg 36, in the same building as primary school De Kustschool, we have provided trusted childcare in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen for more than fourteen years. Our daycare centre is designed for children from 0 to 4 years and is open five days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including during school holidays. We work in a vertical group: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and develop together in one cosy space. This set-up allows children to learn from one another, comfort each other and discover together. Our regular pedagogical staff create a homely atmosphere in which every child is given room to grow at his or her own pace. We use the recognised Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme Puk and Ko to stimulate language, numeracy and social skills through play. Outside there is a spacious yard where the children can run, cycle, build sandcastles or simply enjoy the fresh air every day. When the weather is nice we open the doors and play outside as much as possible. We regularly take short trips to the beach or the village, and organise simple cooking and craft activities that fit the weekly theme. Fruit and drinks are included; bottles are given on request and there is always room for a quiet nap in our separate sleeping area.
