Kindercentrum Het Louvre

Kindercentrum Het Louvre is a Christian daycare center located in the Schollevaar district of Capelle aan den IJssel. We provide care for up to 59 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our childcare center is part of Royal Kids Home and collaborates with Christian primary school De Sjalomschool in an Integral Child Center (IKC). At Het Louvre, we believe it's important that every child feels safe and at home. We offer a stimulating environment where children can discover and develop through play. Our pedagogical staff provide loving care and personal attention, as every child is unique and valuable. We work with three horizontal daycare groups: De Appeltjes and De Pareltjes for children aged 0-4 years, and De Steentjes for children aged 1.5-4 years. Additionally, we offer a playgroup called Pré-school Saron for children aged 2-4 years, where we work with Early Childhood Education (VVE). Our activities are tailored to themes developed together with the primary school. Think of themes like autumn or 'traveling around the world'. These themes add color and content to our activities and ensure variety and creativity. We also have a special sensory room where children can relax and activate their senses, which has a calming effect on babies and a stimulating effect on toddlers. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30. We consider a careful settling-in period important and take ample time for this, always in consultation with parents.
