Kindercentrum het Kievitsnest

Welcome to Kindercentrum het Kievitsnest, part of Kinderopvang Wageningen. Our location at Kievitsweide 26 in the De Weiden district provides after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. We offer 35 regular BSO places and have been officially registered in the National Register since September 16, 2010. Kinderopvang Wageningen has been a trusted partner in the city since 1965. We work with permanent pedagogical staff who are familiar faces for your child every afternoon. Our BSO is designed around the world of school-age children: after a long school day, there is plenty of room to play, relax and engage in fun activities. We believe it is important that children can develop at their own pace. That's why we offer a wide range of activities that match what is happening in the group at that moment. Whether it's outdoor play, crafts, games or just doing nothing – anything is possible. We encourage children to discover themselves and the world around them from an inquisitive, curious attitude. Health is a high priority for us. We teach children from an early age what a healthy lifestyle entails and ensure sufficient exercise. Our location is spacious with many play opportunities, both indoors and outdoors. This allows children to let off steam after school. Kindercentrum het Kievitsnest is an independent location without parent or subsidiary companies. We work with a close-knit team of 16 staff members who are ready every day to give your child a great afternoon. Our goal is to provide children with a familiar place where they feel safe and secure, while parents can combine their work or studies with caring for their child.
