Welcome to Kindercentrum het Dok, located at Rustenburgerpad 8 in the new residential area Nieuw-Rhijngeest in Oegstgeest. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Oegstgeest (SKO), we have been providing trusted and professional after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 for 35 years. Our spacious, bright and modern facility is situated next to primary school Het Dok, with whom we work closely. Children can unwind after school or engage in fun activities. We offer a varied programme: from baking cookies and cooking in our kitchen corner to building with different materials, arts and crafts, reading on the sofa or playing in the home corner. We also regularly use the gym for sports activities. Of course, children can also play outside on our large playground, specially designed for the older children in after-school care. During school holidays we organise special trips. For example, we take the older children to our own cabin on recreational island Koudenhoorn in Warmond. For children aged 5 and over, we provide swimming lessons at Poelmeer swimming pool, which we transport to and from with our SKO bus. We also provide free transport to sports training or hobbies in Oegstgeest with our own drivers. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give children a safe, challenging and above all fun time.
