Kindercentrum Heidepoort

Welcome to Kindercentrum Heidepoort, our daycare centre located at Margrietstraat 2 in the heart of Heikant. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and have provided trusted, professional childcare for up to 16 children aged 0-4 since 2016. Our team consists of regular pedagogical staff Talitha, Laura, Ramona and Sandra. By working set days each week, every child always sees a familiar face and parents know exactly whom to approach. We use horizontal groups, so babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and sleep separately. Spacious, quiet sleep rooms adjoin our secure garden, letting children step outside as soon as they wake. The garden offers plenty of room to climb, build sandcastles and explore together. Indoors we have corners tailored to each developmental stage: a soft baby area, a construction zone for toddlers and a creative corner where pre-schoolers can craft and role-play. Our centre is officially registered for Early Childhood Education (VVE). Through play we give extra attention to language development, motor skills and social interaction. We track progress with the Kijk! 0-7 system, allowing us to see exactly where a child needs extra challenge or support. Because primary school Heidepoort is located in the same building, the transition to kindergarten is seamless. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Extended care is available from 6.30-7.30 a.m. and 6.00-6.30 p.m. We remain open during all school holidays so you can rely on us year-round.
