KDV Groningen De Gravenburger

KDV De Gravenburger is located in the Gravenburg district of Groningen, in the same building as public primary school De Feniks and Christian primary school De Aquamarijn. We provide care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our childcare rooms are on the ground floor and feature cozy groups with special corners. We have a safe area for babies with high cribs and a large floor playpen. The rooms connect to a beautiful garden, and a Tiny Forest has been planted next to the location. We go outside daily and organize several activities throughout the year, such as a summer festival, Easter brunch, spring walk, and a trip. Once a week (on a different day each week), we have a 'tasty-food-day'. On this day, we cook together with the children and let the little chefs help with cutting vegetables, rolling balls, folding puff pastry, and filling oven dishes. KDV De Gravenburger collaborates with BSO De Gravenburger, ensuring that children and parents continue to see many familiar faces during the transition from daycare to after-school care. We maintain close contact with the primary schools and ensure a smooth handover before your child starts school.
