Kindercentrum Foxkidz St. Willibrordus

Welcome to the toddler group of Kindercentrum Foxkidz St. Willibrordus, located in the historic heart of Hulst. Our daycare center is housed in a characteristic building at Princebolwerk, surrounded by the impressive Hulst fortifications. From 2 to 4 years old, we welcome your child in a safe, homely environment where development is central. We work intensively with primary school St. Willibrordus. Our toddler group is part of the integral child center, allowing your child to become familiar with the school environment at an early age. We share the atmospheric green outdoor area with natural play elements: a maze, water feature, climbing equipment and sandbox. Together with the kindergarteners, we play on the Pagadderplein, where open-ended toys and natural materials stimulate imagination. Our pedagogical policy is aimed at guiding each child at their own developmental level. Through the Peuterplein method, we work thematically on all developmental areas. Raai the crow, our cheerful hand puppet, accompanies the children with each theme. We observe and register development with KIJK!, so we can tailor our activity offerings precisely to what your child needs. On Wednesday it's gym day! Then we go to the gymnasium with the toddler group for movement education. Additionally, master Jordy comes monthly for a yoga class and we organize workshops such as toddler bootcamp. Health is important to us: around 10.00 AM we eat fresh fruit and drink water together, provided by our pedagogical staff. For diapers and drinks, you don't need to bring anything. Parent involvement is highly valued. Through the Jaamo parent app, you receive daily photos and messages about your child. We organize parent evenings, work with a parent committee and you receive the weekly school newsletter. For questions, you can always contact senior pedagogical employee Véronique Provoost. Our toddler group is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We offer flexible care: minimum two half-days per week, with an additional half-day at no extra cost. For longer care, there are possibilities by consultation.
