Kindercentrum Avonturentuin Deinum

Kindercentrum Avonturentuin Deinum is a small-scale, home-like daycare centre located right in the heart of Deinum, next to primary school SWS Twaspan at Spoorstrjitte 5. We provide anthroposophical childcare in which every child is approached as a unique individual. Our groups are intentionally kept small so that each child feels seen and known. Children spend their day in a cosy living-room area that truly feels like home and have access to quiet sleeping rooms with a maximum of two children per room. Outside, we share a large natural garden with the toddler class ’t Hummelhonk. We regularly explore the village: visiting calves at a local farm, collecting shells along the Van Harinxma Canal or playing in the nearby playground. These outdoor experiences are an essential part of our philosophy; by moving, discovering and fantasising, children grow at their own pace. Our wooden toys invite open-ended play and leave space for the child’s imagination. Our pedagogical staff are patient and warm, focusing on living together: children learn to wait, share and care for one another. We offer early childhood education (VVE) and use horizontal grouping so that children receive the right stimulation and care for their developmental stage. Kindercentrum Avonturentuin Deinum welcomes children from 0 to 4 years.
