Welcome to Kindercentrum de Tovertún BSO, located in a beautiful monumental building at Voorstraat 34 in the heart of Kollum. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely, safe and stimulating environment. Operating under Tiko Kinderopvang – the specialist in professional childcare in Noardeast-Fryslân – we offer both before- and after-school care, as well as care during study days and all school holidays. Our BSO group De Sinneblom is housed in a separate section of the building, ensuring the peace and quiet needed for the younger children in daycare. The rooms are warmly decorated with cosy play corners, a comfortable seating area and challenging toys that match the world of school-aged children. Large windows provide plenty of natural light and an open atmosphere where children quickly feel at home. Outdoors, children can release their energy in our spacious, sunny and green garden. It features a sandbox, climbing equipment and ample space to run, play and explore. When the weather is nice, we spend lots of time outside; when it’s not, our indoor areas offer plenty of variety and challenge. Our team of pedagogical staff welcomes the children every day with warmth and enthusiasm. We work from a basis of trust, respect and fun. Structure and routine are central, so children know what to expect, while still having room for their own initiative and creativity. We believe it is important that every child can be themselves and feels safe to grow and learn. Kindercentrum de Tovertún BSO collaborates with primary schools in Kollum and the surrounding area.
