Kindercentrum De Rommelpot

Welcome to Kindercentrum de Rommelpot at Emmerhoutstraat 1 in Emmen – the childcare centre where a child is still allowed to be a child! We believe every child is unique and therefore special and wonderful. At De Rommelpot children are welcome to be themselves. We provide responsible childcare for parents and children, regardless of background or identity. Our daycare (KDV) is designed for children from 6 weeks to 4 years. They can attend full days, Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 18:00, for a minimum of 2 half-days and a maximum of 10 half-days per week. The group feels like a second home: safe, warm and calm, where children can grow and develop at their own pace through play. For many years we have been an official Early Childhood Education (VVE) location. Children with an ECE indication can use our 16-hour VVE programme free of charge. We align our annual programme with the early years of primary school to ensure a smooth transition later on. Our pedagogical staff respect each child’s individuality and autonomy while also teaching them to follow the group’s daily rhythm. We work closely with parents and later with the school: open communication and mutual respect are key.
