Welcome to Daycare De Kabouterhut, part of Childcare Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. We are located in the multifunctional center 'de Keure' at Kloosterstraat 42 in the heart of Sluis. For over 40 years, we have been providing trusted and professional childcare in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Children feel safe and secure with us, are stimulated in their development, and learn to interact with peers in a playful way. Our daycare accommodates up to 33 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers are cared for separately from preschoolers. Our spaces are cozily furnished with a living area, shared kitchen, two separate bedrooms, changing and toilet facilities, and an entrance hall. For the youngest ones, we have two high cribs and a large floor crib. Children can play in various corners such as a kitchen area, toy car area, and a table for games. We provide theme-based activities that align with the children's world of experience and development. Our pedagogical staff ensure that each child can develop at their own pace. For babies, we maintain the home rhythm as much as possible. We have a wide range of play and developmental materials that stimulate children in a relaxed manner. Our outdoor playground, shared with the preschool, features a playhouse with slide, sandbox, and two sheds full of bikes and outdoor toys. We believe it's important for children to play outside sufficiently and discover nature. We offer preschool education (VE), preparing children for primary school in a playful way. Parents are kept informed of all activities through newsletters, photos, and our website. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended opening hours available.
