Kindercentrum De Buurvrouw

Kindercentrum De Buurvrouw is located at Razeil 5 in Almere and has been providing small-scale childcare for children aged 0 to 4 for over 8.5 years. Since January 1, 2022, we have been part of GO! Kinderopvang, an organization whose vision on quality and care for children, parents, and staff aligns perfectly with ours. At our centre, everything revolves around creating a safe and familiar environment where every child is given the space to develop at their own pace. We work with horizontal groups, meaning children are cared for in age-specific groups. This approach ensures calmness, recognizability, and a clear daily rhythm. Our groups are small: a maximum of 12 children per group, each with a consistent caregiver. This provides structure and trust for both children and parents. We offer flexible childcare and allow day swaps to accommodate the changing needs of parents. At Kindercentrum De Buurvrouw, preschool education is central. We provide a structured programme focused on language development and social skills, tailored to each child’s age and developmental stage. We use the Konnect app to keep parents informed about their child’s day through photos, reports, and messages. Parents can also access placements, invoices, and annual statements through the app. Our location features a private outdoor playground and is open 52 weeks a year from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 19:00, excluding official public holidays. Diapers and bottle feeding are included in the care, so parents do not need to bring them. We value parental involvement and invite parents to attend parent meetings, information evenings, and activities. We also have an active parent committee that contributes ideas about the care and development of our children.
