Welcome to Kindercentrum De Blokkentrein, located at Boulevard Antverpia 9 in Roosendaal. Our childcare centre is part of Plek voor kinderen B.V. and offers a green, safe environment where children aged 0 to 4 can grow up in harmony with nature. Our building borders Scouting de Fridtjof Nansen and primary school De Blokwei, placing us in a familiar, child-friendly setting. We operate horizontal groups, bringing children together in age-based groups. Our baby group, the Stiltecoupé, is for children from 0 to 1.5 years. Here we follow each child’s natural rhythm, with quiet moments, care and a dedicated baby garden where the youngest can safely explore. For toddlers aged 1.5 to 2.5 years we have the Eerste Klas, where the first steps towards independence are encouraged through play. Our pre-school group, the Locomotief, welcomes children from 2.5 to 4 years. Here we stimulate development through natural, adventurous activities that match the curiosity and energy of this age. At De Blokkentrein we believe it is important for children to grow up in a green environment. We offer plenty of outdoor play and make full use of our natural playground. In addition, we provide everything needed for a comfortable day: nappies, baby formula, bread meals, fruit and drinks are all included. Children can also nap outdoors, ensuring they get fresh air during rest time. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff creates a warm, safe atmosphere in which every child is seen.
