Kindercentrum de Belhamel

Located at Brinkerweg 1 in central Wageningen, Kindercentrum de Belhamel offers after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 10. The BSO is situated on the first floor of our welcoming building, close to many local primary schools. We run two horizontal groups: one for 4- to 7-year-olds and one for 7- to 10-year-olds. Each group has its own spacious room filled with play corners and chill-out areas, giving children plenty of room to unwind after school. Our qualified staff co-create fun themes and activities with the children. The rooms are stocked with craft supplies, a dress-up corner and a kitchen where we regularly cook or bake together. Older children can challenge each other to a game of table football or relax with a book in a quiet nook. Outside, children enjoy our private garden that includes a “hiding forest” with trees and shrubs and a real amphitheatre. Here they can build huts, run free or simply enjoy nature. We also make short trips to the neighbourhood playground, local shops or interesting building sites nearby. Diversity is celebrated at de Belhamel; our team, children and parents come from many backgrounds, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels at home and is encouraged to explore new experiences.
