Kindercentrum Breskens

Welcome to our Childcare Centre in Breskens. You can find us in the MFC building in Ghistelkerke. We believe it is important that every child is seen and allowed to grow into their own self! At this location we have various forms of childcare: the day-care centre, the toddler group, the baby group, the 2+ group and after-school care. Day-care centre the Centipede is a group for children aged 1 to 4 years. In the group, children can climb and clamber and go on discovery tours together with peers. This way they grow in their development. Toddler group the Wrinkles provides care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Here we stimulate language and play development to give children a good start at primary school. Baby group the Cockles is for children aged 0 to 2 years. In this group we focus on stimulating sensorimotor development. Here too, we find it important to look at what each baby needs and to act accordingly. The 2+ group is for children aged 2 to 4 years. Here we find it important to stimulate physical, motor, cognitive, emotional, speech and language development. We do this by adapting activities to this and looking at each child individually. We believe it is important that a child feels comfortable in the group because only when a child feels safe can it grow. Our childcare hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. Extended opening hours are possible from 6:30 am to 7:30 am and from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Shortened day sessions are possible with a minimum of 3 hours. During school holidays, regular opening hours apply.
