KDV Groningen Wigwam

KDV Groningen Wigwam is a small-scale daycare centre in the Beijum district. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location has been officially registered since 17 February 2011 in the National Childcare Register (LRK 162939887). We work with the Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme. This stimulates language and speech development, social-emotional skills and motor and sensory development of children from 0 to 4 years. Our hand puppet Puk is a regular friend who joins in the daily activities and helps children learn in a playful way. Because of our small scale, we can give a lot of personal attention. We work with horizontal groups: babies and toddlers are separate from the preschoolers. This allows us to optimally respond to each child's developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment in which children can develop. We find it important that parents and children quickly feel at home with us.
