KDV de Caleidoscoop

Welcome to KDV de Caleidoscoop, located at Hammarskjöldstraat 230 in Hoofddorp. Our daycare is part of Kinderopvang Haarlemmermeer and offers anthroposophical childcare for children aged 0 to 4. We operate in two dedicated spaces: a baby group and a toddler group, using horizontal groups to optimally support each child’s development. Upon entering, you immediately experience our homely atmosphere. The peach blossoms on the walls, plants, warm wooden materials, and tidy, orderly environment contribute to a calm and safe place for your child. Children are in a group space where imitation is possible, supported by play corners and the pedagogical attitude of our staff. We consciously choose sustainable and natural materials and toys, including toys that are not fully formed. This creates opportunities for children to shape the toys themselves using their imagination. Respect for nature and people is central to our approach. This respect is reflected in our offerings of songs, creative activities, outdoor play, books, room decoration, puppetry, and crafts. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide your child in a safe and warm environment where discovering, experiencing, learning, moving, and experimenting are central. We see it as our task to provide a place that perfectly suits your child, where they feel at home and can develop optimally.
