PeuterStart Amarant

PeuterStart Amarant is located within primary school De Stromen at Lupinesingel 11 in Alphen aan den Rijn and provides toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. As part of Stichting Junis Kinderopvang, we offer four morning sessions per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:15 to 12:15) in a safe and stimulating environment where toddlers learn through play. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 14 December 2015, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance. At PeuterStart Amarant we implement Early Childhood Education (ECE), focusing on language, numeracy and social skills. We run horizontal groups where children of the same age play and learn together. The indoor spaces are set up for climbing, cycling, running and games. We also engage in creative activities such as painting, sand and clay work. Outdoors, children can use the playground and sports field of the child centre. Our qualified staff guide the children with care and attention, enabling each child to develop at their own pace. We believe children should enjoy learning and playing, and that parents should feel confident about the care we provide.
