Kindercentra De Drieslag Prinses Amaliaschool

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindercentra De Drieslag at Prinses Amaliaschool, located at Nederwoudseweg 23A in Barneveld-De Burgt. We are part of Stichting Christelijke Kindcentra De Drieslag, an organisation that has provided Christian education and childcare for more than a century, believing every child is unique through the gifts received from God. Our BSO is situated within the primary school itself, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment after school hours to play, relax and develop. We make full use of the modern school facilities, including a spacious gym, playrooms and a secure outdoor area. The location can accommodate up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. We follow a clear daily routine where rest and structure go hand in hand with room for personal initiative. Children start with a shared moment: we eat together, make short agreements about behaviour and respect, and discuss the programme. Afterwards they can choose from various activities such as crafts, games, construction, sports and movement, or simply reading in the quiet corner. We encourage playing together, sharing and helping one another, always aligned with the Christian identity of our organisation. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who are familiar with the school culture and often already know the children from the classroom. This creates a warm, safe atmosphere in which every child feels seen and valued. Parents are actively involved; we regard them as experts who know their child best and we gladly use their knowledge and ideas. In short: at our BSO at Prinses Amaliaschool, children have the space after school to grow, play and enjoy themselves in a familiar, Christian environment.
