Kindercampus De Groeiplaneet

Welcome to Kindercampus De Groeiplaneet, a welcoming early childhood education centre run by Stichting Impuls at Oostakkerstraat 56 in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We provide pre-school education (VVE) for children aged 2 to 4 in two small-scale groups. Group A is open on Monday, Thursday and Wednesday morning; Group B on Tuesday, Friday and Wednesday afternoon. This horizontal grouping ensures calm and familiarity, giving every child space to develop at their own pace. Play-based learning is at the heart of our approach. Our qualified staff follow the Impuls VVE programme, stimulating language and speech development, social skills and independence in playful ways. We work with themes that connect to the world of young children, using stories, songs and discovery corners. The rooms are bright, safe and inviting, with areas for building, crafts, reading and role play. Outside we have a paved yard and green strips where children can run, cycle and play with sand and water. During each session children receive a healthy snack and drink. Parents can choose half-day or full-day care; half days end at 12.30 or 13.30. We work closely with De Groeiplaneet primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to kindergarten.
