Welcome to Kindcentrum Zonnebloei, location Muiden. We are a small-scale daycare centre where nature serves as the rich learning environment for children aged 0 to 4. Our home is located at Constantijn Huygenslaan 1 in Muiden, set within a green area that we visit every day. We believe children develop best when they are free to play, explore and take risks, always with respect for the natural world around them. Our pedagogical staff guide your child with love and compassion. We follow a clear daily rhythm that offers calm and structure, yet leaves room for adventure. The day starts with free play, after which we gather in a circle and head for the forest or natural playground. There we make mud paint, create music with trees, taste birch sap or pick elderberries for our own lemonade. Gardening, cooking over a campfire and crafting with found materials are just as much part of the programme as reading aloud and singing. Warm, organic meals are carefully prepared and tailored to the needs of young children. In between we serve fresh fruit and healthy snacks. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding and keep fixed nap times in quiet, cosy sleeping areas. Nappy changes and care are carried out with attention and respect for your child’s rhythm. Our horizontal groups mean children play with peers, so activities and materials perfectly match their stage of development. We offer pre-school education programmes, allowing your child to work on language, numeracy and social skills through play. Outings to the petting farm, the forest or the beach complete the offer. We look forward to exploring the world together with you and watching your child blossom in our safe, natural environment.
