Kindcentrum Zanddonk

Welcome to Kindcentrum Zanddonk in the heart of Waalwijk! We are located in the beautiful new building at Mendelssohnstraat 59, where together with Van der Heijden primary school and Pater van der Geld primary school we form one cohesive child center. Our BSO Beestenboel provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 8 years in a familiar and homely environment. After school, children arrive at their familiar space where they are welcomed by pedagogical staff they often already know from their time at the playgroup. We start together with something to eat and drink, after which the children split into small groups for various activities. The children themselves decide which activity they want to participate in - we follow their choices and provide the guidance they need. Our location features a beautiful large outdoor playground where children can enjoy climbing, clambering or playing ball. Movement is central to our approach, as this is important after a day at school. We regularly make excursions to places like the petting zoo or supermarket, where parents are warmly welcome to join us. Our BSO is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Wednesday and Friday we visit our colleagues at Kindcentrum Juliana van Stolberg, so we can continue to care for all children. The close bond between our pedagogical staff and the children is characteristic of our approach - there is plenty of attention for the individual child. We work intensively with both primary schools in the child center, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We warmly invite you to come take a look at our location.
