Kindcentrum Zanddonk

Kindcentrum Zanddonk is a modern and sustainable child center in the heart of Waalwijk, located at Mendelssohnstraat 59. In this beautiful new building, we work intensively together with primary schools Pater van der Geld and Van der Heijden, Mikz childcare, and a gymnasium. For children aged 2 to 4, we offer small-scale toddler care where play and learning go hand in hand. Our toddlers play to their heart's content in the large spaces with fun play corners and enjoy playing together on the beautiful playground with plenty of greenery. The playground features a challenging and varied play offering that stimulates children's creativity. We provide VVE programs (Early Childhood Education), where children's development is playfully stimulated and toddlers are prepared for primary school. Through close contact with the Mikz team and school, many children are already familiar with the location and staff before they start in group 1. We continuously work on a good continuous line and a smooth transition from childcare to starting primary school. Our pedagogical staff follow the children in their activities and provide the guidance they need. The sustainable building radiates sustainability from all sides with wooden facade cladding and green roofs. The application of Sedum between the stairs gives the center an inviting entrance. The center is easily accessible from surrounding villages and cities via the A59.
