Kindcentrum Willem-Alexander in Steenwijk is a Christian child center where education and childcare come together under one roof. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years, where we work playfully on development and preparation for primary school. Our location is situated in the heart of the multicultural Steenwijk-West neighborhood, where children grow up in diverse home situations. Every child is welcome with us, regardless of background, culture or religion. As an Early Bird location, we introduce children to the English language at an early age. This already starts in our toddler care, where we playfully introduce English words and songs. We work from our mission 'Expeditie Accrete', where children go on a journey of discovery and learn to trust their own abilities. Music, movement and creative activities are central to our approach to develop executive functions such as concentration, creativity and empathy. Our toddler care is open from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and offers a safe, stimulating environment where children can play with new friends and learn to be away from home for a while. We pay a lot of attention to a healthy lifestyle with active and healthy children, a fresh climate and attention to personal and social development.
