Welcome to Westwijzer Child Centre for care and education! Located in the heart of Helmond-West at Cortenbachstraat 70, our colourful neighbourhood house offers before- and after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 in partnership with Korein Childcare. Our mission is to give every child the support they need to keep developing. We make sure both children and parents feel supported. Our BSO is part of a vibrant child centre that welcomes children from 0 to 13 years. After school, children can join an engaging programme we shape together with the LEV group during the Extended School Day. We work closely with Westwijzer primary school and other partners in the neighbourhood house, such as the child health clinic and speech therapy, creating short lines and a familiar environment where every child is welcome. Language development receives extra attention. We teach children to cooperate and play together in a democratic way, allowing them to practise social learning to the fullest. “Doing it together” is our guiding principle: we actively involve parents, teachers and carers in each child’s development.
