Kindcentrum Wereldwijs

Kindcentrum WereldWijs shares a building with OBS de Groene Bogen at Beukstraat 13 in Drunen. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. After the last lesson, pupils walk straight into our spacious BSO area. Every afternoon starts with a moment of rest or a healthy snack; children can also sign up for a warm meal. Our educational approach follows the Dalton philosophy. We offer children clear boundaries within which they can make their own choices and discoveries. The core values independence, freedom & responsibility and cooperation are central. This means children decide for themselves whether to join the BSO Fun activity programme, read a book, play a game or enjoy outdoor play. BSO Fun uses rotating themes so no two weeks are the same. We use the Wereldplein: a green outdoor area with natural climbing and hiding spots linked to continents. In bad weather we move activities to our large indoor play hall. During school holidays we organise extra festive outings and projects together with BSO Bornholm, widening the group and giving children even more opportunities to learn from each other. Our team consists of dedicated pedagogical staff who see every child and challenge them to further develop their talents. We work closely with OBS de Groene Bogen so the transition from school to after-school care is seamless.
